GPS Literary Characters

What if your favorite literary characters could be the voice on your GPS?

George Wickham (Pride and Prejudice) would give directions that seemed to make perfect sense but would end up taking you to the wrong place.

Peter Pan would give you false directions and then change them at the last minute while laughing hysterically.

Jane Eyre would be the best because her directions would be to the point and practical.

Bilbo Baggins (The Hobbit) would be a close second. Although, come to think of it, he would get easily frustrated by the impossible decision of whether to take the shortest possible route to avoid a long, arduous journey or the most solitary, peaceful way.

When you took a wrong turn, instead of simply telling you to make a u-turn, Friar Lawrence (Romeo and Juliet) would come up with the most creative but dangerous solutions, like driving through a private property.  (If you don’t get arrested, you’ll still make it!)

Who would you choose to give you directions?

  4. Jonny Lee Miller (e.g. Sherlock Holmes in Elementary, Mr. Knightley in 2009 Emma, Trainspotting) or Maggie Smith – it would be soooo cool to have Downton Abbey’s Dowager Duchess insists (insist, I say!) to turn here. 🙂
