GRYFFINDOR: Fanfare for the Common Man by Aaron Copland
This short piece practically bleeds courage.
SLYTHERIN: Prelude Op. 23 No. 5 in G minor by Sergei Rachmaninoff
Both the Slytherins and this music are determined at all costs.
RAVENCLAW: Praeludium – Rasch by Arnold Schoenberg
Ravenclaws pride themselves on housing the smartest witches and wizards, so they would love this piece because it definitely provides a challenge.
HUFFLEPUFF: Violin Sonata No. 36 in F Major K547 Mvt. 1 by W.A. Mozart
Hufflepuffs are perhaps the friendliest of witches and wizards. Their personalities match this light and overall contented music where the violin and piano interact perfectly.
What other music, classical or otherwise, do you think could match one of the houses?
Your posts never cease to amaze me. They’re different and bold and clever. Love this idea and particularly your choice for Slytherin. I played this prelude years ago… kind of brought me back.
