Who Would Win at Chess: Miss Peregrine or Mary Poppins?

Both of these women are quite intelligent and imposing. If the two of them sat down to play chess, then, who do you think would win?

Let’s consider: Mary Poppins is one of the most clear-headed, rational people I can think of in literature, but Miss Peregrine might have more of a bird’s-eye view of the game (I couldn’t help myself). They both have magic, so there’s that, as well.

Who do you think would triumph??

Other essential questions to ponder:

Who Would Win In a Fight: Gandalf or Sherlock Holmes?

Who Would Win In a Dance-Off: Mark Watney or Willy Wonka?

Who Would Win Prom Queen: Anna Karenina or Daisy Buchanan?

  2. I must read Miss Peregrine first… but it happens so that Mary Poppins and her creator Pamela L. Travers are my personal (healthy and creative) obsession and in my opinion neither of them was/ is rational. Mary Poppins only appears so if you listen to her words but if you look at her actions she challenges all things rational. Since apparently Miss Peregrine also possess magic one thing is certain, the rules of chess as we know them will not apply. 🙂
